The place of Sydney's first European settlement, the Rocks has evolved unrecognisably from its crowded, convict beginnings. Once the home of sailors, whalers and questionable figures, the Rocks is now one of the city's last remaining historical centres and its small alleys are best explored on foot.
Starting at from Cadman's Cottage, Sydney's oldest house, meet your friendly local guide and begin your tour winding through the convict-built lanes, stopping off at three atmospheric pubs along the way.
