  • Experience Sydney from a local’s perspective (which, let’s face it, is the best perspective imaginable!). Explore all the city icons, like The Rocks, Sydney Harbour Bridge, and the Sydney Opera House, but explore them in a way most tourists don’t. We take the least-walked path on this Sydney walking tour, and meander through this fascinating city’s tumultuous history and into the modern day.

This historic Sydney walk introduces you to the old and new of Sydney. We wander past Cadman’s Cottage, the oldest building in AustraliaThen, take a stroll down Argyle Place, Nurses Walk, and other ‘must-do’ sites such as the Customs House and the Sydney Opera House, all with a local guide to show you the bits you’d miss on your own!

This Sydney tour is a warts and all account of the birth of modern Australia and the legacies left from decisions made and the people who made them: those who won, those who lost, and everyone in-between. Factual, funny, irreverent, and anecdotal – this Sydney walking tour is a great local experience packed full of Sydney history!

  • Mr. Martin W. from New Zealand travelled on 06 Jun 2017:

I think that the tour could easily be shorter. Our guide’s passion and enthusiasm for the history and culture was evident, however the number of “interesting stories” he shared became tedious as we stood around listening for prolonged periods of time in the cold. On a brighter note, the tour was helpful in that we were shown places in the Rocks that we probably wouldn’t have found ourselves.

Mr. Alistair M. from New Zealand travelled on 09 Apr 2017:

Our guide Lucy was exceptional – what a sweetie!! She made our tour just amazing!! We learned so much, and covered so much ground in such a short space of time.

Mrs. Belinda F. from Australia travelled on 10 Jul 2016:

Guide was awesome, very knowledgeable and flexible about accommodating the tour to meet the group’s needs and wants!
